Mark locations and punch/drill holes about 1/8" below belt’s top edge.
Assemble bracket, D-ring, and leather tab as shown in the guide.
Insert rivet; place washer and set using a hammer and socket or small pipe.
Trim rivet length, leaving approximately 1/8"–3/16".
Place on a hard surface and peen the copper rivet to secure.

Remove the belt and lay it flat on a surface. Measure from the buckle's end to the hole you were using. This measurement is your true belt size.
